Biology major Paige Sawyer '15 was featured in a MaineToday story about her blog, ā€œ365 Random Acts of Kindness for 2013.ā€ 

As the story explains: "On January 1, the Ā鶹ֱ²„ student launched a blog called ā€œ365 Random Acts of Kindness.ā€ The premise is simple: Do something kind for someone else. Every Day. For the entire year.

ā€œThereā€™s a lot of negative stuff in the media,ā€ she said. All that news ā€“ from school tragedies to fiscal cliffs ā€“ can wear a person down. ā€œPeople need a little glimmer of hope.ā€
