Bob joined the Âé¶¹Ö±²¥ in late 2021 and brings extensive experience in research compliance administration. Prior to assuming his current role, Bob served as Senior QA and Education Manager at Weill Cornell Medicine, where he led quality assurance, training and education, and process improvement initiatives within the Human Research Compliance Office. 

In his current role, Bob supports the ethical and responsible conduct of research involving human subjects and biosafety activities, and works closely with UNE’s Institutional Review Board (IRB) for the protection of human subjects and the Institutional Biosafety Committee (IBC). 

Bob’s professional interests include research ethics, streamlining compliance processes to improve the experience for both researchers and review committees, and building community and educational opportunities for research compliance professionals across Maine peer institutions.
