Jamie is a licensed occupational therapist and Nutritional Therapy Practitioner. She received her Master of Science in Occupational Therapy from the University of Southern Maine in 2009 and earned her Nutritional Therapy Practitioner certification in 2021. Prior to joining UNE, Jamie spent 12 years at Spring Harbor Hospital within the Developmental Disorders Program as a manager, occupational therapist and milieu coordinator. 

Jamie brings extensive experience providing occupational and nutritional therapy to children, youth, and teens with a wide range of needs, including autism, anxiety, ARFID, depression, Down syndrome, sensory processing differences, food selectivity, feeding and eating challenges, fine and gross motor delays, developmental delays, and challenging behaviors. 

In her academic role, Jamie is passionate about occupational therapy education, student mentorship, experiential learning, interprofessional collaboration, and preparing future occupational therapists to provide thoughtful, evidence-informed, and client-centered care.
