Ryan Brod joined the UNE English department as an adjunct lecturer in the Fall of 2019. A graduate of University of Southern Maine's Stonecoast MFA program, he's a senior contributor for The Drake magazine. His writing has appeared in River Teeth, Gray's Sporting Journal, Maine The Way, online at the MeatEater website, and elsewhere. He's at work compiling a manuscript of personal essays. Ryan is also a Registered Maine Fishing Guide, fly tyer, and filmmaker. He lives in Portland.
