About Transcripts

Transcripts are the official and comprehensive records of a student鈥檚 academic work, including all coursework, grades, programs, and awarded credentials and honors.

Official Transcript Release Policy

The Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act of 1974 (FERPA) requires that all requests for transcripts must be authorized by the individual to whom the record belongs, either in writing or through a secure electronic authorization.

Transcript Key

The transcript key provides guidance on how to read the grades, symbols, and course numbers that appear on an official transcript issued by the 麻豆直播. Please refer to the current transcript key for additional information.

Requesting an Official Transcript

You can use one of three methods to order your UNE official transcript.

Electronic Transcripts

Electronic Transcripts can be requested online 24/7, directly through the National Student Clearinghouse (NSC) . E-Transcripts are typically delivered within 24-48 hours of order submission. Additional processing delays may occur due to holds on student accounts, federal holidays, etc.

Credit/debit card payment must be made via the National Student Clearinghouse in order for an E-transcript request to be processed. The NSC has a $2.90 handling fee for Electronic Transcript Delivery within their network, or a $3.90 handling fee for Electronic Transcript Delivery outside of their network. This fee does not go to UNE.

For assistance on how to request an electronic transcript, please visit the . Questions can also be directed to the NSC via phone at (703) 742-4200 or email at transcripts@studentclearinghouse.org.

Paper Transcript

Students and alumni can request an official paper transcript to be mailed or picked up by completing the Transcript Request Form (PDF). Students can submit the completed and signed form:

  • Via email to registrar@une.edu
  • Via fax to (207) 602-5927 or (207) 221-4898
  • In-person at Decary Hall 114 on the Biddeford Campus or Hersey Hall 119 on the Portland Campus for the Health Sciences during normal business hours

Paper transcripts are typically processed within 5鈥7 business days of request. All mailed transcripts are sent via USPS Standard Mail, so please allow additional time for delivery. Rush mail and tracking options are not available.

For in-person pick up, the student/alumni will be notified via email when the transcript is ready. The transcript owner must provide a photo ID in order to pick up their transcript.
